Mr. Mizanur Rahman Khan is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Bangladesh. He has been serving as partner of MARHK & Co. since 2006. Mr. Rahman has vast experience in providing assurance, tax and other advisory services to various clients. He has gained his specialization in developing Standard Operating Procedures (Sop), accounting and financial management manual for a wide range of clients. He has extensive knowledge in accounting and financial reporting as required by International financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs). He also has exposure in implementation of computerized accounting system in various organizations.

Dr. Abu Sayed Khan is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Bangladesh. Dr. Khan completed his B.Com. (Hons) and M. Com. in Accounting from Dhaka University obtaining first class in both the examinations. Dr. Khan started studying Chartered Accountancy in 1980. He obtained the ICAB medal in CA (Inter) Exam held in November, 1981 for passing in first eligible chance obtaining the highest marks. He also took the credit of passing part I and part II final examinations appearing both the part in first eligible one chance in Nov-Dec 1982. He became the Associate Member in 1983 and Fellow Member in 1988.

After qualification as a Chartered Accountant, he worked with S F Ahmed & Co, Chartered Accountants in their different consulting assignments. He joined Bangladesh Krishi Bank in 1983 as Assistant General Manager and served there for 5 years. He joined the then Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board (BTTB) as Chief Accounts Officer in 1988. He was then promoted to General Manager (Finance & Accounts), and then as Member (Finance).

Finally, he was promoted to the position of Managing Director of Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Ltd. (BTCL) in 2011. He also held the position of Managing Director of Telephone Shilpa Sangstha Ltd. (TSS), a government owned company. After retiring from government service, he joined S.F. Ahmed & Co., Chartered Accountants, as Senior Director and looked after assurance and advisory services. Dr. Khan joined as Partner of MARHK & Co. in 2022.

Dr. Khan conducted academic research, availing the prestigious Commonwealth Scholarship, at the University of Bradford, Business School (UK) on Public Sector Accounting and Financial Reporting Practices in the Developing Countries. He was awarded PhD degree from the University of Bradford in 1996.

Dr. Khan has been serving ICAB in different capacities. He was in the Council for 5 (five) consecutive terms since 2001 to 2015. He was Vice Presidents of ICAB for two terms in 2002 and 2003. He was also a member of the ICAB Council for 2019-2021.

Dr. khan has been serving with the different standing and non-standing committees of ICAB for long time such as, Executive Committee, Examination committee, Public Sector Committee, MSWC, Editorial Board, etc. He is one of the resource persons of ICAB and took coaching classes for long time from 1997 to 2009. He represented ICAB in different international conference and meetings such as, SAFA, SAARC, IFAC, British Accounting Association.

Dr. Khan held position as Director of the Board of several companies such as, DESCO, North Power Generation Company, Teletalk Bangladesh Ltd., Bangladesh Telecommunication Company Ltd., Bangladesh Cable Industries Ltd., Bangladesh Telephone Shipla Ltd. etc.

Dr. Khan attended many international training programs, workshops and seminars held in UK, USA, Canada, Japan, China, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa and many others. Md. Arifin Monjur is a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Bangladesh (ICAB), boasts a remarkable career spanning over sixteen years. Throughout his professional journey, he has showcased exemplary leadership and expertise in diverse roles within the auditing and accounting industry.

Arifin’s extensive experience covers a wide range of financial disciplines, including financial reporting, accounting, auditing, financial management, internal controls, business and property valuation, investment appraisal, and corporate taxation. He has showcased his proficiency in conducting court-ordered fraud investigations, capacity assessments for NGOs, and financial modeling in diverse manufacturing sectors.

His global perspective is reflected in his engagement in auditing activities abroad. His audit capabilities encompass a deep understanding of auditing, review engagements framework, and agreed-upon procedures (ISAs, ISRE, and ISRs). His expertise in reporting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs) has allowed him to assist clients in setting new accounting policies and providing valuable support on technical accounting issues.

Arifin’s expertise extends into the realm of Governance, Risk, and Compliance, where he has conducted audits for a diverse clientele. His skills include property, plant and equipment, business, and equity valuation in accordance with International Valuation Standards (IVS), IFRSs, Bangladesh Securities & Exchange Commission guidelines, and Bangladesh Bank’s Foreign Exchange Investment Department circular.

Arifin joined MARHK & Co. as Partner in the year 2023. Before joining in MARHK, he had been serving as director of S.F. Ahmed & Co. Chartered Accountants- A Member Firm of HLB International (Former Technical Assistance Firm of Ernst & Young Global, U.K. from 1993 to 2014).

Mr. Arifin has been serving with the different committees of ICAB such as, Technical & Research Committee, Board of Studies etc. He is one of the resource persons of ICAB and conducting coaching classes since 2018.
